Well i was looking right down the line where there interference occured and he did push off but the jumbotron had a bad angle at it. Muskogee got its own bad calls during the night to like when they intercepted the pass that ended up being Union ball and a 1st down or the holding call in the endzone on a player that was behind the line of scrimmage at the time and the ball was thrown over the goalpost!!!

This is an easy one. The "intercepted pass" was multiple possession when the two players hit the ground. Afterwards the Muskogee defensive back ripped it away. Multiple possession always goes to the offense. And as far as the ball being thrown over the goalpost, that doesn't matter. In high school there is no uncatchable rule. You can not bump a reciever while the ball is in the air period.
The call on Ziegenhorn in the corner of the endzone could have gone either way. Both players were pushing, usually a no call. But bad calls are made all the time. It's not as if that call cost Union the game. They played undisciplined all night. How do you heavily outgain your opponent and still lose 21-7? Turnovers.

I guess everyone is forgotten about the punt returned for a TD and Lewis INT returned for a TD. Both were called back because of penilties. As for the flag in the Endzone, it was a awful pushoff by zig, also, whats up with the classless acts that union has displayed at stillwater with their coaches spiting on the fiels with the playes dancing on stillwaters field logo, Overtime, I dont think so, As for Unions new offense. The Spread, Hello, Muskogee sees that everyday, its their own offense. Hell, Union uses over half of their plays now, guess you gotta stick with what works. I think union will come out with attitude until they bit off more than they can chew with muskogee's L.O.D. Only team in the state to hold Harris and kigjack under 100 yrd each. Gonna be a great fight, like 2 heavyweights going toe to toe.

Guess coach Wright may already be leaving his mark on the program? Coach B would never let us disrespect the other team. If we did we had somethin waiting for us in practice. not sure I understand what you mean by "spitting on the fields" though? Sure, but that doesn't make them bad calls. If it happened it happened. The ref is supposed to call it. Tell the players not to block in the back.

I have a hard time believing that Union did that kind of thing, anyone wanna verify that?

Yeah i dont know that Union would do anything like that everytime ive seen them they have showed alot of class. Im telling you this I dont think that Muskogee really wanted Union in the 1st round and I dont think Union really wanted Muskogee in the 1st round either. You have 2 of the best teams in the state locking horns and should he a helluva game!!!

I was told.....after the way Union acted in the BA and Stillwater games that longtime asst and Head 9th Grade Coach.....Coach Stockton informed Coach Wright that the classless behavior by Union players and Coaches was not the "Union Way," and he would no longer be a part of it.
I left before the end of the BA/Union game....and didn't attend the Union/Stillwater game----so I was not there and do not know if the stopping and spitting happened. However, I do know that Coach Stockton has told Coach Wright that he would not be involved with Union Football anymore.
Any of you that knows football knows Coach Stockton..he is also the head track coach at Union. He won several state championships as a head coach in football....before coming to Union. He does an outstanding job as the Head 9th Grade Coach at Union. It is very hard to find coaches with his ability to coach Freshman football......almost all of the really good coaches only coach the HS. Union will suffer due to the loss of Stockton somewhere down the line......because Wright will be very hard pressed to find someone willing to coach 9th grade football who is even close to as good as Stockton.

I wasn't saying they were bad calls, just stating that the game could of beem 32-7. It was just muskogees nite from what I saw on TV, as 4 the coaches I belive it was only 1 coach, but u are right most of the union coaches have alot of class from what I have seen.

Well, I gotta take you guys at your word. That's just flat out embarrassing. Coach Stockton is a great guy and a very good football coach. He loves football enough that he chose to coach at lower levels of the program. For him to just quit like that would mean there were some really bad things going on. Unless something changes I won't be attending any more games.

okie21....I call bs on your Coach Stockton story. Your attempt at bringing up trash about Union's program after Broken Arrow's collapse is very obvious. You have enough to worry about with Coach Whitson so stop throwing stones at Union.
washedupredskin....you ought to be ashamed of yourself. Some bozo from BA starts making up stories about Union and you fall for it. You now won't be attending anymore games? Wow, you really are a fan. Grow a set son.

I'm obviously gonna find out if it's true first before I decide not to go. But grow a set? You're gonna start talkin $hit to me on the internet and you tell me to grow a set. If you really wanna be that way(and I don't think you do) come find me around thanksgiving. I live right next to the Union Intermediate high school. If you want I'll draw you a map. I'm not ashamed of myself, I'm ashamed of what the program is becoming. Obviously my statement hinges on whether or not what Okie says is true. If not I'll be watchin a couple playoff games. I can find out real quick whether it is true or not. At times he has been quite knowledgeable, other times not so much. But if it is true and the new coaching staff is tearing down what took Coach B over a decade to build, I will not stand for it. I will not support it. And I'm as big of a fan as you'll ever find bro. Until this year I haven't missed a home game since 3rd grade. I'm also a product of the program. If only you knew what I went through for that program, maybe you'd shut your mouth. There were three coaches that really taught me a lot, not just about playin football, but about how to act. Bill Blankenship, Steve Spavital, and Johnny Bohannon. Two of them are gone. If what Okie says is true and it continues, I can almost guarantee coach Bohannan will be gone after this season. Really man, why would you tell someone who is mad about his own school POSSIBLY disrespecting other teams, causing a long time coach to quit, to grow a set?

I was just repeating what a very good source told me. This source is someone that would know....and is employed by Union Public Schools. However, like I said in my previous post...I did not see the Stomping/Spitting on the field at the end of the game---I had already left. This has nothing to do with Broken Arrow........I was just sharing information that was given to me. And I am not worried about Coach Whitson...if he does not return at the end of the year, I am sure that the sun will still rise in the morning. The BA job is a good HS job and will create a lot of interest around the state. Once again....I was not told this directly from Coach Stockton, however it was from someone that would know and someone who probably heard it from the horse's mouth. Baashar, call some of your Union contacts to see if this is true or not. When you find out...please share your information. thanks,
