It's getting pretty ridiculous. When my buddy and I saw a 7-11 guy changing the price to 3.37(up from 3.32) we started booing him. One thing's for sure though. Demand will go down. We pretty much just walk to where ever we eat now.  |

The lowest gas price I remember as a kid growing up in OKC was 19.9 cents per gallon, during a gas war between two stations.
When I was in the 8th grade, I got a job pumping gas at a Kerr-McGee station that used to be on the southwest corner of 23rd and Rockwell in Bethany. This was about 1974 or so. The average price then was probably 34.9 for regular and 39.9 for premium. The Mobil sation across the street was always a coouple of cents higher, which we thought of as a ripoff. That was for full service, which included checking under the hood and cleaning your windows. We would also check and air up the tires if they asked. I think I made a couple of bucks an hour for that job.

The main problem with the horse is the noxious exhaust.

Just been busy trying to finish up this school year...this time of the year is a nightmare!
The noxious exhaust would pose a problem though...never thaught of that!

There's enough hot air to fuel it... Now THAT is truly a limitless resource. I think I'm going to have to alter my flying machine to be a hybrid hope/hot air powered vehicle. |

Wow... I had never paid attention to any aspect of this site besides football.
I recently bought a bike to run errands if they're near enough to home but MWC is all hills over here... it's really killing me. Good excercise though.

I stood in line two hours to vote for None of the Above. We are the ONLY state with only two choices on the presidential ballot. Unacceptable.

Seriously. I was half-ashamed to vote for McCain today. I totally voted that all of the 6 judges we could vote on should be removed from office though. Hahahahah! Take THAT legal system!
