You beat me to it. Were you there? Yes I was there Man, you should have said hey to me. I was wearing an Arizona State football shirt and a Chicago Cubs hat. I got there in the 5th and sat infront of Jenks' Coach Owens there scouting for a bit in the stands right behind home plate then I went down and sat by Ketchum and Ziegenhorn down the first base side by the Union dug out. |

Jenks beat PCN 11-7 today. The Trojans were up 11-0 before they put the JV in.
After that Jenks lost 7-2 to Artesia, NM. Ginther with the loss, I really dont know why he was pitching today... atleast starting, he went 5. Artesia was hitting him, you could tell that Mark wasn't himself and his arm hurt from the night before, but Jenks also got hosed on some calls. Zumwalt got tossed and so did Damon Freeman. It's one thing when a coach gets tossed, but when a kid as nice as Damon Freeman gets ejected, you know something is wrong with the umpire. Oh well, you can't win them all, just have to come back and play the next day...

Doesn't the Coach now have a mandatory suspension? If so, how long is it? Is the player suspension the same as the coach?

If they were OSSAA, it would be one game on the first offense and 2 games on the second, I believe. It will be interesting to see what happens though because Zumwalts ejection was somewhat vague... The umpire told him not to say another word all game and that he was not allowed to leave the dugout and coach third... Might as well have been ejected. |

I remember a couple of years ago, listening to Enid's game in Arizone being played over the radio. Enid's coach was tossed while at that game in AZ.
It was the last game of the trip and the AD made him sit out the next game in Oklahoma because ANY game played counts against a teams OSSAA limit of games, therefore it was goverened by OSSAA.
I wonder if it is just becuase Enid's AD doubles as the radio announcer and wanted to make it look good!
