I've seen posts that say Enid's schedule isn't very tough. Have they beat anyone of quality besides Edmond Memorial? Also, when's Union and Owasso going to finish up?

Hi all, i am just wondering if anyone could tell me how they think the 6A regionals(east and west) are going to play out. How is it determined who goes where and who hosts??? Is it based off record, conference, quality wins, or some other criteria??

Ed Robinson at the OSSAA takes the coaches rankings that are due this tuesday and will most likely take the top 4 from the west and east and they will host. Because the west has 19 teams, 3 will have to go east. The coaches have agreed to send 9, 12 and 15 east. That rarely happens. Ed will do what he wants and no one can figure out the thought process involved. There is alwas a wildcard in the whole regional thing and that is Stillwater. They are not good enough this year to have any effect, but in years past the have hosted a regional even if they were not the # 1 seed. Some years they count as a west side regional and sometimes an east side regional. Maybe Enid will be the wildcard this year, since they will be in an east side conference when the new Moore school comes in to being. The only thing that is for sure is that Memorial will host.

Will someone please tell me how a school 30 miles west of I-35 (Enid) could be considered an East side school? The Midwest City, Del City and Choctaw are all east of Enid!

Union 2 Jenks 0
Great pitching matchup between Ginther and Ruzsinski. Both pitchers brought there "A" game today. Union wis in the 8th on a single by Duren.
Some bad calls in the game but it was a classic HS baseball game. Both teams put on a great show and shouod be proud of themselves.
