Several High School baseball jobs are open or will be open in the coming weeks. Some others could just be rumors that have grown legs.
* Holland Hall - coaches got canned for mis-conduct
* Metro Christian - job has been open all season but rumor is it will be filled soon
* Mounds - Ira is on his way out ........
* Verdigris - Will coach Keith take the head job or stay on as an assistant for a new guy?
* Claremore - They need some one to breath life back into the program after this year.
* Bixby - Word from the umps is that Sangari is going to retire after the season.
* Sperry - Could coach Fish retire now that he has his 1000th win? If so, would Brent Payne ( Sperry Alum and former Oologah H.C.) take over?

Verdigris promoted coach Keith to it's head spot.
Claremore will be opening next week after they get eliminated.
Metro is going to have someone by the end of the week.......

they had 22 applicants ...... and interviewed about 8. Some good candidates though .... an assistant from Union , Jenks, Blachard and Claremore Seq. applied ..... couple more guys too. They need someone who will breath life into the program that has a vision to build that program into what it can be. HUGH potential there. In my opinion they need to clean house of the guys that are there.

Looks like Metro will be going with the " comfortable shoe" , Shawn Booth from Cresent looks to be the frontrunner. Booth was there and won, but was it with Fosters players ? ? ?
Personally, I think Metro is scared to ruffel anybodys feathers ........... Several better candidates to have chosen from.

Booth was offered and turned it down ......... Metro is hiring the coach from Blanchard.

Claremore has had 40 applicants so far ....... some big names have applied including the pitching coach at a South Tulsa School.

Resemue's are being taken at the Administrative office in Claremore. It's downtown ....... not at the school.
