Thanks Yak... it's been a great year man... I just wish it could have gone on another week. Oh well I guess... I'll be supporting the team next year. I think they'll be really good next year actually. In fact, if they can replace the senior linemen, they'll be better than we were this year. They'll have a passing QB in Jace Chilcoat, Flanders and Brown returning for another year in the backfield, a whole host of linebackers who have gotten a considerable amount of pt this year, and a few of their D-backs too. Only the corners and wide recievers will be gone, but they've got plenty of young guys to fill those shoes, and they have a whole year to learn how to catch : )

Congrats t Union & Jenks for making the finals. I hear that game will be played in Norman because TU & OSU are under consruction. Why could't they play at BA or Owasso? I would also like to congratulate our MWC posters for a great season. 12-1 is a great year. You represented MWC well and you have nothing to hang your heads about. Absolutely right. You Bombers have had a fantastic season and have given yourselves, your fellow students, and your alums, new reason to be proud of being from MWC. Undefeated regular season, district champs, and making the semis will all be something you can point to for years to come. The '07 Bombers will be remembered for a long time. As for the location of the final, the regular season game attracts well over 20,000. The rematch would do even better. There is no high school stadium in Oklahoma that can hold much over half the crowd that is likely to show up. With OSU and TU out of the picture, that pretty much leaves OU. Maybe what Tulsa area crowd they lose by playing in Norman will be made up by OKC area people curious to see just what is so incredible about these two teams playing each other.

I have heard 4A-6A will be played at the same location. Just like they do in TX. Have the 4A at 11:00, 5A at 3:00 and the 6A at 7:00. That would be my schedule. That way, you could pay one price, say $10, and see 3 great games.
Hope the OSSAA gets it right!

Yak don't talk like that man. Some few people that were bandwagon fans might act like that, but did you hear the fans last night? They cheered after EVERYTHING. Even though we were losing and the game was welllll beyond reach, they still cheered, even after the game was over and the dishonorable actions that followed.... still they cheered as we left the field.... They care man, I promise.

yak, Words can't solve the hurt that you are feeling right now. Having been in your position I can only tell ya that time will heal your wounds. Next year at this time you'll be proud of your accomplishments and the tradition that you ignited for the BOMBERS. Your victories have excited school spirit and should enjoy your senior year and I can almost bet you'll be one of those senior "craizes" that will be rooting on the basketball team in some kind of crazy garment. You can always say, I played on that STATE SEMI TEAM that brought "BOMBER MAGIC" back to life. ;D

Yak I know how you feel. Going into my senior year we had just won state and everyone was acting like our friends. Then we go lose to jenks in the backyard bowl and the next day at school you wouldn't believe how many people were talking crap about us, as if they had any idea how much effort we put into that game. What you'll find out is in the end the only ones you guys can trust is each other, because everyone else thats not on the team will be fickle. Just make sure anyone that's talking crap about your teammates regrets doing it.

its funny how you go 12-0 and people will love you and talk to you randomly acting like your friend, but you loose a game and they act like they do not know you... like you never exsisted... i feel you kid. that is the nature of the beast; and especially Bomber fans. I was there wearing my beat Jenks shirt screaming loud and proud. Be proud of your accomplishments and contributions to continuing the legacy. It will never be forgotten.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this site just for giving a darn. Though you guys may not know or understand, but this forum made the highschool football experience even more special than what it would hae been. It's just nice to know that people outside of MWC even realize the hard work that it takes for a season like we had. On behalf of myself, Andy, and Brady... Thanks.
