there was about five of us sophmore year...we all promised each other we would not leave Midwest City without that ring...bringing it back home to the WEST! Where it truley belongs...i cant hold it in anymore.. I just want to win...I just want to win...i want that "perfect" season...i am tired of people from our own school and city saying well you guys had a great season. good luck next year...hell are season aint even done yet!!!!!!!!!! If they dont have faith in us they dont need to come to any games at all. I want my team to prove everyone wrong who doubted us all year long... for some of our starters they will never play football again after high school...they want it sooooo bad they can taste it. Those seniors have something to play for... Play with heart, passion, but most of allevery single down...play with your soul...di it for Darnell the TRUE founder of Bomber Football...lets do it!!!!!!!!!!! Bombers all the way....

Well of course they're not unbeatable, but I think some of the strategy employed in the Union game caused the defense to spend too much time on the field and wear out. It's gonna be a lot cooler this weekend than at the Union game and I don't see the same thing happening again. That was sort of a strange game - it was something like 20-7 Jenks at the beginning of the fourth quarter, and ended up 43-42 in OT. The Trojans and Redskins combined for six touchdowns in the last 11:08 of regulation, including three in the last 3:42 and two in the last 1:37.

Guys, really like the Stewart kid. He's a hungry defender. Flies around the ball and lays the wood. He's #28 isn't he?
I hope your QB has a good gme. I'm not very impressed with his passing. I wish Thigpen was still playing for ya. He'd give you a better chance to win.
Statue of Liberty, fumblerusky, bring em all to the game this weekend.
has KSBI decided what games they'll televise?

I'll take Jenks by 14 and then in the finals i expect the Jenks/Union game to be much lower scoring than the first time. Both defenses are ten times better than they were at the backyard bowl. I'll with hold my final prediction until after the semi's.
Btw, bombers I watched you guys against owasso on TV. I love the speed of your d-line. you probably have the fastest line in the state.

Kamron is #44. Moore is very underrated in the passing. Yes, he makes some bad decisions in the passing game, but when it counts his passes are usually right on the mark(and we have all seen him run). Honestly, I don't thhink that Jenks can stop the rush. We are running the triple option like it has never been run before. I think that the Offensive Line is athletic enough to get to Jenks' linebackers, a feat no one has been able to do. This game is up to the O-Line and the D- Line.

KSBI is televising the Jenks - MWC game for sure. Not sure about Union - Muskogee.

having seen both teams up CLOSE (maybe 2 close) I'm going to pick the Bombers. I think the Bombers quick striking offense and speed will produce some problems for Jenks' defense. #99 for Jenks can turn it on (when he wants to play). It seems like he's a little too big cause he doesn't go hard all the time. He will play on the Center or in the A gap MOST of the time to get penetration. I like what Coach Huff is doing there. Tradition is a big part of a program like MWC and he has embraced that. Bombers win. I'll come up with a score closer to the game.

yea, I feel like our lines are a HUGE part of our success on both sides of the ball, and really (just like all lines in any level of the game) are the "unsung" heroes of our team. MWC has had speed for a while in its game. Look at a few years ago when Laron (Spell check) Moore was qb and he had Jamad and Pubie in the back with him... excellent speed, but that was it. And on the defense.... as sad as it is to admit... I'm pretty sure that Russel Brown has a faster 40 time than I do : ( and he's like 270 pounds.

I don't want to be too critical of high school kids, but you are right, Sandman, about Tony Gillespie. When he wants to play hard, it's really difficult to stop him. The problem is that there seem to be a lot of times that he would rather showboat than produce. He's not a statistical team leader in any defensive category.
I'm an OSU fan, and if it turns out that he goes somewhere else, I don't think OSU has lost that much. He's probably too short to play line in D-1, anyway.

If not Gillespie, then who is the biggest threat that Jenks possesses on defense. Bertelli?
I really wish that Harper would not have written that article about us in the Oklahoman about Jenks being next in line. It seems that every week this year they has talked about how we should have lost. Look at us now, about to play one of the proven top teams in the state, and ofcourse they makes it look like we are arrogant fools with a shiny record. For all of you who read that article don't base opinions of us on that crap or anything else that they might write. The only thing that article does is stir up the trojans, "bulletin board material". We just want to play football and win a gold ball. Newspaper articles are worthless.
you sure it's only ten thousand? i thought closer to 15, but i could be wrong.
hope everyone can make it to the semis. gonna be exciting.

Aber didn't write that article.

MWC may beat the trojans, it may snow in July, They may have a record number of Nat'l merit scholars on their team and Richard roberts may be the President of Tuls University. All are about as likely as the other. MWC cant pass, they rely totally on speed. they cant contain big Tony, cant touch Ginther, cant cover either Adams or Thompson. let alone Beeler. They made agood run for the West but its over.... why play, just forfeit and save the humiliation. Jenks 48-0

Before determing my picks, I need to wait and see how the wether is going to effect the game. Currently, the weather looks to be raining with a chance a snw flurries.
MWC is a primary run team that throwsjustto keep defenses honest. MWC has a 3 pronged running game which will work to their advantage if we have inclemnet weather.
Jenks though, has the definite advantage whe Ginther throws the ball. He's one of the best, if not the best passer in the state. If Ginther's pass threat is taken away, I don't see how Jenks can just pound it down MWC. PC tried it and only put 7 pts on the board.
The weather, in my mind will be the determing factor in this game.
Does anyone else think the way I do?

We can pass, but we get more yards running(bet on us getting to at least the 200 mark). I can guarantee that for our O-Line, containing "big Tony", especially since he goes full speed once every 10 plays, will be no difficult feat(I've been watching film very meticulously). Don't forget that we have probably the best defensie backfield in the state led by Mr. Flanders himself. Our D-Line is far too fast and strong to not get to Ginther at least 50 % of the time. Oh, and I think we were up 35 - 7 on Westmoore at half-time, son. You played one westside team and suddenly MWC won't even score. Westmoore scored on you and they can't run the ball near as well as we can. ...48 - 0... ridiculous. You got anything else or would you rather wait til Saturday?
