Just Curious....why did CA start having people pay? I signed up at first, but then after a month I canceled. I canceled becasue posts were often days in between....therefore no information being shared. Then this site was created...so I assume CA lost just about all of the potential subscriptions they would have had.

How many of you guys also pay for CA...is it worth it? How is it any different than okpreps?

I figured one of you might know some details on this----becasue it was about a year ago that CA started charging wasn't it?

When I read they were going to start charging, I told myself I was going to have to find a new place to keep up with HS sports ............ So yes Matt, Baashar, Ramsey, Washed ...... A big thank you is in order here.

Right when coachesaid announced it was going to pay, Baashar, Ramsey, and I all jumped on the phone together and created this site and got the word out as soon as we could, the link was even put in the swear filter by coachesaid thanks to Ramsey. I like all the guys over there like Farr and Swish, but there is zero large school talk, its all small school. I still pay tho. Same name for over 2 years, "ste4236"

Nothing against Coaches Aid, but personally, they f**ked up.

Maybe one day they'll wise up and allow the forums to be free, until then, these will exist.

Either way, its win-win for us, if they never wise up, we've still got these forums here, if they wise up, we accomplished our goal and get free access to the forums there. See what I mean?

Id never pay for Coaches Aid, if I was gonna subscribe to a pay site, it would be the Rivals network. Ive barely got enough money for my cigs as is.
