So I'm here at the UA pretty much hating it. I enjoyed last semester, but that was until my best friend here transferred to Northern Arizona and now just about everything seems to be falling apart... only good news in the future is that baseball starts in 11 days. I'm really wanting to transfer and I'm wanting to go to a Christian university somewhere west of Oklahoma or maybe up near Illinois or Wisconsin. I checked out University of Denver, which is Methodist based, because I played in a Tennis tourny in Denver before and stayed there, but total costs at DU were $42,000 a year, which is about a full 4 years instate at OSU (Only reason I didn't end up at CU-Boulder was because of the costs).
So I checked out another school in Colorado and found Colorado Christain University in Lakewood, CO (Denver subburb). Everything I read about it I like (minus the fact it doesnt have the greatest journalism school, but hey! I go to Arkansas, ours isnt too spiffy either). It's a D-II school, under 2000 kids (yes, smaller than Jenks, I know), but something about it seems really good for me. I haven't been the most devout Christian in my 19 years, but have been trying really hard to change that lately. I think a Christian school would be fit well for me because most people would have the same beliefs as me on not drinking, drugs, etc... and find some true friends. I'm working on my essay application now.
I was wondering if any of you knew of any other Christian universities out West or in the Great Lakes region that you are familiar with or think would be good a good fit?
Thanks,
-Stephens
