Gambling

Hey, it's been wayyyy too quiet on this forum lately (seems to get that way until football rolls around again), and I was trying to think of a subject to talk about that relates to sports.

How big is sports gambling among your circle of friends and acquaintances? I'm not talking about the office pool or things like that. Not asking for true confessions here, but have any of you dealt with gambling addictions with friends and such?

My own contact with this is very limited - the office pool level stuff. I do know another attorney, in OKC, who lost his license to practice law mainly due to extreme measures he took to get money to gamble with (embezzled from his boss).

Traber is always talking with the Fat Jack. There are lots of other programs on radio and TV dealing with picking winners on almost every level of every sport (Western Oaks MS is playing a big game at Hefner this week - I have the guaranteed lock!!!), so there must be a sizable audience for this stuff.

this is really lame of us. ive been really busy with opening the new location, i havent been on here much at all. sorry. i think its been down 2 weeks now.

I think we're gonna move to a new server. mats been talking about major changes
