Not many people post on here, but if anyone sees this I'd like to hear your thoughts. Any idea on who will win it this year?
MWC has a great team, but they have yet to put their full lineup out on the matt. Seth Johnson (state champion) has been out on an injured elbow, and a whole slew of others have taken turns with minor injuries.
I think if they pull it together, MWC wins it, but Broken Arrow has an awesome team this year, led by 2x state champ, Drew Partain, and Ponca City and Tulsa Union can not be taken lightly either.

Get ready to get beat in that last game of the season (Is it still the last game?). I hear both teams have strong teams this year.

MWC - 42
DC - 21
I'll be honest, I had thought it would be closer than that. I still picked MWC on top, but I was thinking about a 5, maybe 10 point difference.
DC, were you at the match? If you wind up going to Dual State, Traditional State, or Basketball State (or any other MWC DC matchup in another sport) we should meet up

I was not...a ton going on right now...I'm very disappointed in the Mid-Del match-ups since our class left. It seems as if Midwest City for some reason or another is intimidating Del City. Our class beat Midwest City in everything except track and field (which MWC had a choke hold on at the time), and boy's basketball- and we were up 7 with forty seconds left in that!
All sports at Del City are on the rise, but Midwest City seems to intimidate them. I don't know how else to explain it.

not last year... the wrestling dual last year was nearly one of the biggest upsets in 6A when MWC, defending state champs (and future state champs for that year), only won by 2 points against a team that wasn't even in the top 10. We got RIPPED by our coaches after that one... I don't like to talk about it... so much running.... so much pain....

DC your right. Del City is back on the rise as well as Midwest City. Wrestling should win state. This year reminds me of last year. Loose dual state then turn around and win state.

And Del City still almost took state with only six wrestlers competing. A pin instead of a decision and Del City would have won it all with six wrestlers.
