If Booker T beats Owasso next week. That puts Muskogee 4th in the district and a first round matchup with Union. Let's say Owasso beats Booker T, then Booker T has Union first round.
Union's road to a 3rd straight title looks a little tougher after the Owasso win last night. Congrats to Owasso on a big win.

Funny....I just posted that on another thread. How lucky does Union feel...they either get Muskogee or BTW first round.

They get them at home though, and I dunno if you were at the first Muskogee game at Tuttle but it shouldve went into overtime. Id rather play Muskogee because I dont know how Union matches up with Booker T, but yeah, I think the Redskins can beat the Roughers at home this time in the season.

Of course Union can beat Muskogee.....but Muskogee has proven they can beat Union. Union hasn't had to play a team that could beat them in the first round since the late 90's.
I can't ever remember a time in the 6A playoffs....that a team who was ranked #1 for part of the season and ranked #2 going into week 9 will be playing a team that is one of the best 4 teams in the state. On paper it should be probably the best 1 vs 4 matchup I can ever remember. When was the last time if a 4 seed beat a 1 seed and it wouldn't be considered a major upset?

That was considered a MAJOR upset......I was asking when the last time a 4 seed beat a 1 seed and it wasn't considered a major upset...

It was a good season and alls well that ends well but not being able to at least attempt a run at payback left a sour taste in everyones mouth. P.S Note that I said "Attempt" Mat. And about Muskogee-Union, first round. Id put my money on it. I dont think Owasso will be able to handle everything BTW has to throw at em

I would have said the same thing....but then I saw Owasso play Muskogee. Owasso did something BTW couldn't do vs Muskogee...score a TD. With BTW losing their two best LBs...that could lead to some Owasso TDs.
I also give the coaching advantage to Owasso, Coach Fred will have Owasso ready for this one.

Union is a whole different team then the one that played muskogee earlier in the year. They are running the spread offense now and are scoring alot of points. I think union would rather play muskogee in the first round because they have played them and they can prepare better. They have not played booker T and there running back is hard to keep under 150 yards. So I say Union will beat muskogee but not so sure about booker T.

Going back to the single back set has really helped Union. Baashar, why should the game have gone in to OT?

Muskogee would love to play Union first round too...playing Union is the only way Muskogee has a chance to host a playoff game. If Muskogee beats Union in week 11...then they probably host the loser of WM/Norman second round.
Plus..as a former athlete....the chance to play a team you have already beat can't be that bad..even if it is Union.

Because the skins were down 7-14 with a minute or two left in the game when they scored a TD on a pass to Zig in the left corner of the endzone that got called back and labeled offensive interference. Well I was literally right there and it definately wasnt any type of interference, the score should have been 14-14 right there, but instead Union was forced to go into a panic after that and throw it up in a last ditch attempt with no downs left and no time left and it was intercepted and resulted in a Muskogee TD making the game 21-7. The score isnt very indicative of the game.

the defensive back and zig were both pushing and you know that they never call offensive pass interference unless it is really bad.
